Welcome Back once again! As we all know the West Indies Cricket Board had decided to leave India tour in the middle of the series. Firstly I will tell you that what was happened.
When West Indies came to India their tour was like this:
5 ODI's, 3 Tests and 1 T20. But when they start their tour with the first ODI from that point the WICB had decided to give lesser match fees to their players as they were paid earlier. WICB deducted 30% of their match fees which WICB gave to their players. They deduct 100% ICC fees and many more. For these reasons the West Indies players had decided to leave India tour in the middle of the series. So, the result of the reaction of the players towards WICB was that West Indies team payed only 4 ODI's in their tour to India. Now you will ask:
What was the reaction of BCCI?
After this the BCCI had declared that in the coming few years their will be no series of India and West Indies. But BCCI had declared that the carribien players are allowed to play in IPL. Now you will ask:
What will be the next step of BCCI now?
Now BCCI has decided to have a series between India and Sri Lanka to cover up few amount of the loss which they have to bear. Now India will play a series of 5 ODI's against Sri Lanka from 1st of November 2014. But before that Sri Lanka will play a practice ODI match against India A on 30th of October.
